Gonna have to disagree with MTA 6. Boss fights are pretty easy to make shit in FPSes and "defeat this single super tough enemy and the rest of their forces will crumble" is hard to reconcile in a story. If they feel they can make a boss fight work, sure, but it's not something that they should have to cram into the game regardless of how well it fits.
Also, no to seeing the W'rkncacnter, and no repeated an amount of times that is best expressed in scientific notation to being able to fight it. A big part of eldritch creatures is their unknowability, something that giving one a concrete form would kinda... take away from. As well, there's the whole,"they're so far beyond us that they don't even notice us" thing, so... being able to fight and kill it would just... yeah, no, just no.
