The MA5 series : fires a full rifle-caliber bullet, the same one used for the M14 and the : M60 machine gun. That alone makes the recoil excessive even without : factoring in advances in propellant. FN FAL, FN SCAR-H, H&K G3, H&K 417, Sig 716, and several other present day assault rifles fire 7.62x51 cartridges full auto. Having experience with the civilian versions, yeah, the recoil is too much to hope to be accurate in full auto. I don't even have much luck bump firing my 7.62x39 SAR-1. But it is a lot of fun. :)
