It's one of the little things in Halo where the writers clearly had no sense of scale. : Isn't it supposed to be an anti-aircraft gun? Anyway, the highly exposed : gunner and passengers bugs me more. Doesn't matter if it is an anti-aircraft gun. It's firing ammunition with dimensions identical to the .50 BMG. The M2 Browning could do the same job, and would probably weigh less. I'd like to see an uparmor package make its debut, giving the doors, a roof, and gunner protection. But so long as vehicle design is driven by the needs of multiplayer, I don't think that'll ever happen. : Also look at the recent Halo 4 screen : shots of the Chief in the warthog. He can't even see over the dash. >:( : Never thought of that. That would actually be pretty cool to see a regular : marine use it like that. Funny. I've mentioned that theory several times before. And yeah, it would be neat to see what functions they could pack into the MA5's shell. The lower shell that serves as a handgrip also probably stores a long-lasting battery and maintenance tools. : Kinda busy to look right now, but I've seen some concept pictures of the AR : with a rail on top. I really liked it and wished that we had seen : something like that in the game. Every one I've seen results in a gun that's a little too vertical for my tastes. And then there's the fanart someone found of a 'roid-raging Marine firing an MA5 outfitted with a vertical foregrip. No. Just no.
