In Response To: Re: Another way to look at it... (NotTheVacuum) : I agree; I noticed a lot of gaps in the armor myself (particularly leg pieces : stood out as not appearing very protective). Also agree. Who knows what kind of tech is allowing that to happen while remaining "functional" as before, but visually it looks like they're going for outer visual aesthetic over implied functionality. Didn't say I think liked the way it was going :) just that it could make sense in a certain context. I wish they'd stay with the human base. Make all this flashy flare something that players do to their own armour, but UNSC should stick to their human routes.
