Too bad I can't open it at work. :\ Anyway, for JD: Halo's teacup grip and Weaver stance: "Teacup" because it looks like you're holding a teacup, and I believe "Weaver" comes from the guy who started teaching that stance. I think he was a cop. Here's how many professionals grip a pistol, and it's how notthevacuum and I were taught: Thumbs forward grip. It's easier to flip the safety off when you draw, and you have a lot more control when firing rapidly. You also position your feet and shoulders more squarely to the target, which also gives you more control. Envision making an isosceles triangle with your arms and chest.
