(General Vagueness) I think we actually agree on whether or not it's clear how it works (or even if a meter would clarify how it works - I agree that it would). We disagree only on whether it matters. Well, sort of... I'll come back to that. You raise an interesting point about inconsistent deaths with bleed-through, but I saw that more in Reach, where the health system was demonstrably unclear, even with an indicator (flat out broken, I'd say - the meter could be full and yet you would die like it was empty). Nak3d Eli did a couple of videos about it early on. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Uhnk52vTyu4 I believe later discoveries seemed to indicate that health packs didn't regenerate health in reality, just visually (the meter). The TU only made the problem more obvious, as it disabled the "pop". Perhaps some of the oddities experienced are due to that. At the end of the day, I guess it does matter how much health you have if bleed through is on. If health is low, one shot could take you from partial shield to dead. You might survive it if you had more health. Seeing as that could influence a decision, I have to admit it would be helpful (and even important) to know how much health you have, and a meter is the obvious way to display that.
