In Response To: Feminist Analysis of TFoR (Dragonclaws) Watched your Fall of Reach analysis. Presentation wise I found it to be rather bland and a bit choppey (was the "lucky me" line really so necessary?). With more time spent on giving an opinionated summary of the overall story and individual characters than an analysis. Do you write out a script, or do you just speak to the camera and edit it all later? As far as the analysis itself, I have to say that the only thing that struck me was your take on Kelly and Linda's brief chat on clothing. In the beginning you go on about how FoR is so bland, and the Spartans presented as inhuman, yet when we come to a scene where the two female characters show a bit of character depth where they're more in touch with their feminine side than their background would suggest possible, you take a bit of issue to it. One would think you'd have them be blanderer... or something. A bit of contradiction that stood out for me.
