Well, if you ask the Ratatouille people, they'll most likely say they never intended it to be anti-feminist and they just created a cute romance in the middle of a story with a silly premise. By figuratively killing off the author, you can say that the story is sexist regardless of authorial intent. It's about dismissing their intents to focus on the story.
