Agreed. The colors of the UNSC are an extension of modern military, for the purpose of blending in. The covenant colors, I hazard a guess, are there for practical, game making reasons. Also, being nearly opposite on the color wheel, pink and purple make an excellent contrast to the normative green we associate with military. As for her analysis of the female characters in TFoR, while I don't disagree with any of her analysis, I found the video to be too long, and very tangential.
