In Response To: Re: Bah. *Long* (jayWHY) Interesting comments, but I still have a few thoughts. : You had to THINK in H1. Zyos is the top player in H1 not because he can
I never said you didn't have to think in H1, any player of a v. high caliber will think things through. The point i was trying to make was that in H2 it is more important to plan and think, rather than just using the pistol - sure theres a few different ways to go about it but at the end of the day theres only a very limited number of ways to use a single weapon. : With H2 now whoever gets the sniper, rocket, or sword FIRST, depending on the
How is this any different (excluding the sword) to H1? The RL and sniper were weapons that everyone rushed for, and got lots of kills with - and they still are. Theres not really any differences there. I see where you are coming from with the pistol being useful to combat these weapons, but theres still other tactics to use against them to prevail in H2. The sword is just a matter of staying back and taking them out a little way back. : Again it only takes about a few hours to master the duel weilding combos.
Yup, I do agree with this, it can be relatively easy to get the hang of the combos - however, I dont really see too many people using the pp/mag combo - which is by far the best i feel. There will be ways to better use combos though, as MSN said, give it the same amount of time that we gave H1 and then see what you think. : Why should the depth of the game be destroyed in accommodating newbies. Isn't
The depth of the game is by no means destroyed imho. In H1 there seemed to be 3 distinctive groups of players - average, good and amazing. These groups still exist - all that H2 has done is shrank the large rifts between the classes, allowing slightly closer gameplay.
