Other games that I have fun memories reading : 'side stories/terminals' on would be some of the journals in the original : Resident Evil, as well as some of the books and scrolls you can find in : the Elder Scrolls series. : If you want to try and see what Lost Odyssey's "A Thousand Years of : Dreams" are like, you could see what I'm talking about on YouTube . Sigh. Just watched a clip of Dan Ayoub on XBL talk about how boring it was to read text in a game. I disagree--text engages your mind and imagination in a different way, and adds verisimilitude to a world. Guess I can't blame them for doing their job, though, which it to talk about how everything is the same but better.
