: I agree, and you make me want to play Lost Odyssey. Of course, Marathon : stands out for me as having the most amazing text, but I loved the : terminals in Halo 3. When I first heard of terminals in HA, my hope was : that they would be like that. There's something to be said for the : richness that can be imagined when you only have words to go on. Yes, I somehow forgot Marathon! Other games that I have fun memories reading 'side stories/terminals' on would be some of the journals in the original Resident Evil, as well as some of the books and scrolls you can find in the Elder Scrolls series. If you want to try and see what Lost Odyssey's "A Thousand Years of Dreams" are like, you could see what I'm talking about on YouTube.
