They are so good, in fact, : that they overshadowed the rest of the game for me. They made me tear up a : number of times. Just slightly animated text with beautiful Nobuo Uematsu : music over vague (but pretty) backgrounds. Magnificent!) I agree, and you make me want to play Lost Odyssey. Of course, Marathon stands out for me as having the most amazing text, but I loved the terminals in Halo 3. When I first heard of terminals in HA, my hope was that they would be like that. There's something to be said for the richness that can be imagined when you only have words to go on.
