A positive post about 343 Industries

In Response To: Re: Looked great, in bad need of fog, Terminal a j (Leviathan) Sometimes my tone seriously doesn't convey well over the internet. It tends to be stern and confident (in regards to the Terminals), or really whiny and lame (like about the walkway with Damnation). The whiny stuff about Damnation is exactly what it looks like, but stuff about the Terminals isn't even anger or rage. It's more (very) critical analysis and disappoint than anything. The unfortunate part is that I focus more of my posts on the disappointing things rather than the things I like (mostly because it's all new and hasn't lived up to whatever expectations I've had). It might not look like it, but I am seriously rooting for 343 Industries. H1A has let me down in a lot of ways (mostly about multiplayer), but I cannot wait for that campaign. But then there's Halo 4. I get that H1A is the big push right now with info, but I think I'm more interested and more excited in H4. Hell, most of my really positive and speculative posts have dealt with H4 and where the story will be going, including a break down on how that awesome LOGO will fit into canon. Unfortunately, those topics really didn't get many replies. Maybe people need to see more of H4 before they'll feel comfortable speculating? That or people don't like posting replies of "I agree" unless it's to something negative (which, while it has its bad points, can serve to assist a new developer or any developer in fixing potential issues or in taking fan feedback into account). I guess the short version of this semi-wall of text is that while I might find things to complain about (sometimes strictly off of misguided or protective emotion, other times because I see legitimate concerns and respond critically, and other times conveyed far more harshly than it came out in my mind when I was writing it), I look forward to the future of Halo and can't wait to see what 343 Industries does with its new playground (as opposed to Bungie's previous titles). Here's to H4 and the new journeys ahead!
