Cortana, Reach connections perhaps?

By that point, we would : technically be Reclaimers. : Other than that, I'm not sure about those flashes that Guilty Spark is : seeing. Considering the Cole Protocol and what year we're in, why would we : have an extensively detailed history of humanity on these ships complete : with images. Then again, I can think of many, many reasons as to why we : would, but at the same time I wonder if any nation's militaries in the : real world have large collections of said individual nation's histories : just stored up on random harddrives and databases throughout naval vessels : or major military installations (and if they do, I wonder how many really : have pictures). But now I really am just nitpicking. :P Well Cortana knew... everything, hah, and she was on board the Autumn. Perhaps Guilty Spark glimpsed some of her data, or glimpsed data that she had stored on the Autumn while she focused her own power on fighting the Covenant off. Also, remember that Halo: Reach threw some new facts into the mix. Perhaps Cortana, now that we know she had a 'latchkey', er... well, she knew something special about the Forerunners beforehand... perhaps she was ATTEMPTING to make contact with Halo and the Forerunners, unbeknownst to Keyes and the Chief. These terminals could do a really cool thing and expand on the mysteries of Reach and the latchkey and how it connected to the original Halo Combat Evolved. I find that idea terribly exciting.
