You should play Lost Odyssey

Of course, Marathon : stands out for me as having the most amazing text, but I loved the : terminals in Halo 3. When I first heard of terminals in HA, my hope was : that they would be like that. There's something to be said for the : richness that can be imagined when you only have words to go on. Seriously. The "Thousand Years of Dreams" are spectacular and amazing and will really bring a tear to your eye (you could watch them online, but the impact is so much deeper when you read them in-game and in-context of Kaim). Tthe music is fantastic considering we're talking Nobuo Uematsu here. And while the gameplay is your typical JRPG (where some areas get frustrating running into random encounters every few steps), it's a beautiful game with an extremely well written and immsersive story. I think it took me 80 hours to beat it (took a few months), but it was well worth it.
