Said treatise, I think, was the purpose of his post — the grounds behind his thesis, which was "Bungie kicks ass," or something along those lines. It's be pretty spacious if he just made a point and didn't provide any evidence for it, don't you think?

Arguable.

And that, of course, is the point. Argument was requested to be made elsewhere. If you don't honor that, that's your business, of course — but you can hardly ask him to be particularly kindly in return.
