Here, let's play nurse on the following short paragraph: "If you would like to say something that ISN'T gratitude or respect, please do so in another thread, or e-mail me. I'll be happy to reply. " There are three notable parts to the preceding paragraph. First, is the situation: "If you would like to say something that isn't gratitutde or respect" Followed by my request: "...please do so in another thread, or e-mail me." Lastly, a follow up: "I'll be happy to reply." Now, unless you've got some bizarre setup for this forum, new messages appear at the top. So, when this message was new, it wasn't even 5 inches on any monitor away from the link that leads to the BOTTOM of the thread list that allows you to fill out forms and start a new thread. Apparently, though, sometimes people are too stupid, or thickheaded to figure out "Hey, he's trying to do something nice, and doesn't want it messed up with the constant bickering that goes on in the forum all the time." I'm sorry that "please" sounds like some kind of impossible demand to you. I'm also sorry that it's too hard to type a new thread, with a subject along the lines of "In reply to Shishka" or anything like that. It didn't even have to be that complex, but apparently that's past what you can comprehend. The point, genius, was that this wasn't a thread for conversation, but just a thread for people to say "thank you." I was asking for conversation to be taken elsewhere, with the understanding that "please post it in another thread or e-mail me directly" wasn't over anyone's head. Thanks for proving me wrong. Furthermore, I wasn't even demanding it. I was being respectful to those who disagree as much as I was to Bungie themselves. Hence the please. I'm sorry that the idea of not being an asshole on one thread was too much for you to handle. You should get what ever bug crawled up your ass and died out, so maybe you'll see when a little respect isn't too much to ask. And MAYBE, just maybe, you'll notice that "Post New Message" link for once and you can do your pissing and moaning elsewhere. Next time, read the message a couple times. I wasn't initiating conversation. I was just asking those grateful to say thanks. Next time, I'll start a special thread right after my post for jackasses like you that can't well enough leave things alone without messing them up. -S
