Not to mention that even if they completed Halo to the point of releasing it, Bungie wouldn't've been able to publish it effectively on its own. Remember that (Soapbox?) article about dealing with retailers and such? Microsoft's publishing and hype went a long, long ways towards making Halo what it is. Without that, Halo, if it were released, would have been a game unknown outside of the gaming community, and after a while only the Bungie faithful would have paid it much mind. But we don't need to worry about that gloomy would-have-been, 'cause we've got Halo here and now, and it's on its way to Mac and PC. And it is good. ~Aida-kun the Joyful
