I fully understand what his intentions were. Had he simply posted the bit about saying thanks to Bungie, I wouldn't have felt compelled to respond. However, he also posted a medium-sized treatise on how Bungie was going out of business and therefore we should all be grateful for their decision to sell, then asked that the only direct (i.e. in-context) responses be ones of agreement, and that we go elsewhere in the forum if we wish to contradict or question his position. As far as I'm concerned, this is an unreasonable request--doubly so given the fact that he makes statements in his post that are directly contradicted by public record and therefore call for elaboration.
