If by "valid point" you mean "expect people to dance on your good intentions, just because they can," then you're correct. Of the two of you, Gromit was the only one that could provide an argument with a base to stand on. However, both of you missed the point of the thread. It wasn't meant to be a discussion. As Gromit said (as though I was committing some sort of crime by asking people to say "thanks," and nothing more, I wanted the thread to be "unilateral." Little did I know that was too much to ask. I was trying to point out that "Post New Message," the option for starting a new thread, is very close to where my thread was at the time everyone read it. Sorry if I the message got convoluted there, I tend to do that sometimes, and I was in a pretty bad mood that people had messed up what I was trying to do. -S | |
