Most of HaloReach.isnotcanon.net is devoted to a critique of the story structure. Think of my referencing the terminals not as a declaration that they aren't canon, but a declaration that they might be problematic in a story sense. I have an updater who will explain this very eloquently, and I'll let you all know when it's posted.
