There isn't : really anything to argue about since it's the most logically consistent : way to approach an evolving franchise. The end! I love halo, the multiplayer and especially the fiction. But I take it for what it is, a fictional universe that was created by a goup of people, evolved by a larger group of people and then handed over to an eve larger group of people. Of course there will be flaws and inconsistencies, but in the end theres really only one concern that should matter. Did you enjoy the experience? If so, continue on enjoying. If not, find another game. I personally loved HCEA and thought the terminals were terrific, flaws and all. I will without a doubt buy Halo 4 day one. Will I buy Halo 5? That all depends on if I enjoy part 4. If for some unforeseen reason I don't enjoy 4, I won't make a website dedicated to discrediting it. I'll simply move on. Bungie created Halo. Bungie evolved Halo. Bungie passed Halo to 343. Now 343 (are/is?) beginning the next step in the evolution. Ultimately, it is up to 343 as to what is and isn't cannon.
