I'm more than happy with the efforts made to keep : things consistent in the franchise and Halo is, in my opinion, the gold : standard for multimedia serial fiction with regards to attempts at : consistency. I mean, it could be worse, it could be Warhammer 40k. :P I think a fair few of us really are a bit lenient with the details like this. It just so happens that if you're lenient, you don't usually feel as much need to announce it. The complaints generally come from the same two dozen or so people. :)
