(acceptable overkill) : no august 14th was the first set of ships to arrive, august 30th is when the : remainder of the fleet of particular justice showed, up as for many of the : timelines established in TFoR, there defunct, there is an order to halo : canon, Halo: Reach is at the very top, TFoR is near the bottom and is : ranked lowest out of all the games, books and animated features. i'm : getting so sick of trying to convey this to people... But wasn't the supercarrier and the refueling ship the first set? And if the 14th is indeed the first wave, wouldn't Fermion and the rest of the UNSC forces been on high alert? Therefore why would Fermion on the 30th seem to imply that the bigger wave is the first sighting of the Covenant and only then muster as many UNSC ships to Reach? Wouldn't they have had a fairly large defense fleet prior to the 30th? 343 Industries really need to make these things solid...
