I guess you could have said the same thing about the Playstation 2 Release last year. Hmmm.... : Simply put, I'm not impressed with the first-generation games that XBox : currently has demos for. Maybe they'll improve; actually, I KNOW they'll : improve. PS2's opening lineup wasn't (to me) all that impressive either; : now, I have great games to go along with my system, and more to follow, : now that it's November (MGS2 and Soul Reaver 2, anyone?) Likewise, as the : months go on, I'm sure developers, once they're more comfortable with the : hardware, will come out with very impressive games, which would convince : me to purchase the system. Right now, though, I'm quite content with Devil : May Cry, Ico, Silent Hill 2, Capcom Vs SNK 2, Klonua, and a little-known : Unison. These games will tide me over until that time that the XBox : becomes, in my eyes, the "must-have" system. Fair enough. You're not impressed. Xbox launch games are, IMNSHO, by comparison, superior to what PS2 offered a year ago. Obviously, I'm biased: I think PS2 is a nice peice of hardware, but its beginning to show its age. : And may I say, Morphius, that every time you talk about XBox, you only : mention Halo. Not Munch's Odessey, not NFL Fever 2002, and not Wreckless: : The Yakuza Mission (which looks damn hot, btw.) Well... this IS a Halo Fan page, so that's understandable. BTW, I've palyed a little Munch's and its visually impressive (for the 5 minutes I played it at the local EB Game Stop). But, in comparison to the PS2 launch titles last year, Halo seems to be head & shoulders & stilts above. : Also, may I say that the XBox controller is DAMN unwieldy, and the XBox's : mammoth size certainly matches its raw processing power. Some would say that size doesn't matter :P The thing could be the size of a refridgerator... if it plays good games, I'll buy it. : You may start your flames. No flames!
