In Response To: To be fair... (Cannibal Harry (Friendly warning)) My company designes custom applications and complex B2C and B2B websites, databases etc. We know first hand what can happen when your QA staff sucks and we have addressed that by educating our people and providing them with the right tools to do their job. Is that going to solve the problem and eliminate issues within the software code or hardware? I don't think so. Companies like Novell, Unix, IBM, Apple, and Microsoft have their own set of issues when producing software or hardware. My company is a Microsoft Partner/Solution Provider and I can tell you that they have a vast knowledge of why certain things may not work properly. they hold a huge database of why Novell products etc. may not work with MS products and then they give you a tried and tested solution to make it work. Other companies do the same thing. So contrary to popular belief. Microsoft is not sitting back and producing crap just to make money. The produce tools that are widely recommended and used everyday. Now they're in the gaming busines. They are producing a game or game system YOU ALL want. So for those who hate MS...SO WHAT..... |
