In Response To: Re: Stores Reporting Bugs In Microsoft's Xbox ([Tycho?])

: I guess thats why all the people I've talked to hate Windows 98 (and they
: hate macs). OS X is great, its stable and cool to use.

You and I can argue all day the stability of Win98 or Mac OS... I run them both and have issues with both.... Uhhhh, I've been into computers and networking a long time and there is no Perfect OS. We can argue PC vs. Mac all day and get no where. I administer Macs in my office. So what is your point?

: Just because we buy from them doesn't mean we like them,

Uhhh, dude that shit didn't make any since. If you believe that you're a fool. Just because I work on Macs don't mean I like them. But I really do like Macs. I just PC's better.

I support Bungie all the way, but M$ can burn in hell

Uhh, by supporting Bungie you support Microsoft.... They are one company incase
you didn't realize.. For all you know Halo was or Probably written in a Microsoft Language Application like (C) etc..

So if the developers used Microsoft tools to produce a kickass game then you're in essence supporting the very comapany you're bashing.

: No, im not buying an xbox.

But you will be buying Halo by Microsoft.... See that't the shit I'm talking about.

: M$ doesn't make tech! they make money! they just steal all their tech from
: other companies.

Please give me a short list, if you can, of the technology Microsoft has stolen from other companies. I've told you that everything they have designed is totally different than what is out there. IE vs. Netscape. There is no comparison. IE minimizes and maximizes with no problem. Netscape has to reload the page when you perform these task. I can go on but you'd still wouldn't get it. Microsoft has partnered with various companies to help bring forth new technology. Microsoft is not just making money but they have dumped millions in partnership efforts to take an idea and make it a reality.

: Yes they use M$ because most of the software on the market is made for
: windows. This is exactly what the word monopoly means.

Uhhh, I do recall IBM masking OS2 and OS2 Warp..... but it stank and no one wanted to use it. This was a windows type OS. If it didn't suck then we wouldn't be arguing. But Microsoft has taken DOS, and Windows and made it better and better... So has Mac with there OS and variuous applications... See I don't bash Mac all the time. Again, if those comapanies don't like it then create something better. The reason is, is they cant't. They don't pesess the knowledge or funding to wipe out a company like Microsoft.

: They sure are. Who cares?

You missed the point all together. Go back and read..... .
