well yeah it could be possible but i must say this was the cheif not transported to high charity by gravemind? if i remember right he was also from there transported to what was we assumed to be the Ark, we still have no clue to whatthe ark is whether its what the cheif has hitched a ride on or if its the earth or the moon or a little yellow rubber duck stuck somewhere off in the ocean or even the infamous "Food Nipple Grunt" anythings possible with bungie. anyways back to what im saying, we dont know if thats the ark or not we assume it to be, but still we cant be sure, for all we know thats just a way of getting "Inside" the ark from above because as i stated above the ark could well be the earth, now before you discredit this theory look at the above pictures or go watch the trailer again. and ask yourself this.

Just how did all that machinery that the "Ark" landed on or around, get there?

this brings up the subject of the humans being the forerunners (or possibly even traitors to the old covenant and maybe that is why the covenant fight the war the way they do against the humans.) because once again anything thing is possible with bungie.but if we think about it, it is possible that the humans are the forerunners just piece together the evidence, in the 2nd book it states that the master chief just somehow instinctively knew what buttons to press to extend the bridge, and then once again as ive heard (i dont know if its true or not, so dont hold it against me) guilty spark says to the cheif somewhat in the manner of "you once asked me, if you could do it again would you?" (im not sure if thats the exact text or not but w/e dont kill me) another bit of evidence, guilty spark refers to the humans as reclaimers, NOT the covenant and if i remember in the second book he also talks about another human and also calls said human a reclaimer. However this is mere speculation and i may be wrong i dont know and honestly none of us really do but i will leve my readers with one parting question you may feel free to answer.

What is that above the "Ark"? is it possible that high charity had broken apart somehow? or (think about this) could that be the bottom of highcharity in half atmosphere-half orbit? (we still have no clue as to the size comparisons of Earth=High Charity, if im not mistaken) feel free to answer these qeustions because i myself obviously do not know them.
