Interesting.

Somthing I thought of while putting these pictures together regarding the fact that 343GS refers to THE Ark is that maybe there is currently only one OPPERATIONAL Ark. The one the Covenant found by my theory may have been abandoned by the Forerunner and another one built for some reason. Maybe when the Covenant dug up their ark, presumably after the Forerunner were long gone, Forerunner drones stopped receiving signals from it so went out and built another one.

Or, maybe Arks are one-time use. One would have been built originally and then after each fireing of the Halos, Forerunner drones would go out and built another. Or maybe there were many to begin with as backups, as in Ark plan A, Ark plan B, Ark plan C... and so on if an Ark was needed and the primary couldn't be used for whatever reason. That way there could be many installations and only one ark refered to as THE Ark.

Another thing I just realized is that from the outside, both High Charity and the Earth Ark glow blue from within.
