In Response To: Re: Why arena ranking promotes selfish play (Cody Miller) Actually the most selfish thing to do would be to wait for your teammate to get the other guy to 1-shot, take the kill yourself, and then try to finish the enemy near you. If your teammate is only 1 shot behind you'll probably save his life if your timing is VERY good. And even if you don't kill the guy who is near you, you'll probably do enough damage to him that a good callout will net you an assist. That puts you +2 (if you kill the second guy) or +1.5 (if you get an assist) or +0.5 if your opponent walks away alive. Your team's outcome is +2, +1, 0. |
