Well there's always the thought that a simulation does not necessarily have to be the same thing every time - some can be of the software, some of the machinery ... but I do agree with you, it doesn't seem to work out with the blue towers, does it? Of course, there's always the possibility that Bungie didn't think about 1.2 trillion before animating the blue beams ;)
