It's generally accepted that 1.2 trillion simulated firings were done as a maintenance by the Monitors to make sure the rings were in working order, and 343 Guilty Spark clearly gets upset at Johnson for wanting to fire the ring before it was ready because it would destroy the ring again. I'm not sure what connection you're trying to make. -SR
