Somebody's thinking here. The most vocal Bungie fans form the minority - I am one of them. We have several things in common: 1) We love Bungie, and 2) We hate (or don't prefer) Windows based PC's.
If I know Bungie, they would have served us loyal fans with Halo for the computer a LONG time ago. But since Microsoft practically calls the shots, some of us are being SHAFTED. Bungie doesn't want to go broke or anything, but Microsoft takes it to the extreme. No matter who says that Halo for the computer isn't done - I think that even when it is, we're gonna have to wait till MS is satisfied with its Xbox sales. Why does everyone flip out over that?
