I didn't way necessarily that I wouldn't take his point of view without merit... I said that a lot of people would not see it as carrying much weight.
It is still my standpoint... but it could be skewed a little bit... however, the right person with the right argument to fell my opinion... has not come along as of yet.

As to Microsoft winning... that is my point. People do the same as I... because it was what had to be done to enjoy Halo NOW. I am sorry... but waiting until August or later of this year is unacceptable... and is why so many Mac and PC fans were hugely dissapointed by the merger with Microsoft. or buyout, whatever it was...

This is, actually... only something to tide me over until Halo is available for the Mac/PC... I will still play it on XBox at gatherings... but most of my Halo will be multiplayer online gaming instead. If they had said it was never coming out for the Mac/PC... I would have abandoned Bungie and bought an XBox only to shoot many holes in it with a friend's TAC-9... heh

Seriously though... I wouldn't have bought one... or would have just bummed Halo off of my friends who own many Xboxes (collectively of course).

It is a marketing strategy... it is effective... but that doesn't make it right. Plowing through traffic with a tank may be the effective way to get me to work on time in rush hour... but it is not the correct way to do things and keep the majority of the people happy on the same road.
