In Response To: Ack. (Louis Wu) I'd tend to agree... it is coming out. I just think that the timing of such was done to put more development towards Halo... and a secondary goal of making money off of those who were only really interested in it for the Mac/PC... by getting them to buy an XBox to get Halo. Like I said... and keep on saying and saying again and again and again... this is just my opinion... and to borrow from protexts... I don't have any corporate memos or pictures of Matt in questionable poses with a stuffed hippo to prove anything that I am stating... I just think it, and it makes sense to me... and apparently others have had this same view on this board... because I know I wasn't the first to post this "theory." But I have evolved it quite a bit. I've been playing Bungie games on my Mac since Pathways... but I really got into it when Marathon hit the shelves. Who would have ever thought a game could keep me in school past the bell because we wanted to manipulate their network for 16 player LAN battles. I also agree that this will be the last Mac/PC game from Bungie... although there are never any guarantees in that department. And technically... the XBox is a PC... so whatever. But the market is shrinking for PC/Mac gaming... because you can now get the function of a PC on a TV... and that is what people are looking for. I'd still like to have Halo on the Mac... just because it will be online... and it was meant to be so from the beginning before this whole Microsoft deal came along and ruined a lot of our days... heh My next purchase for the XBox will undoubtedly be the next Bungie game to hit it... cuz the other games just don't hold a candle.
