Here's something: : when we play the Anniversary Edition, we'll see a distant mountain appear : and disappear when switching back and forth between the classic and : anniversary modes. You'll also see leaves appear and disappear on trees. This actually has an effect on gameplay, as the 343 testers found - what was once empty and provided a clear field for sniping is now blocked by foliage! (In fact, some of the testers used the 'switch back' toggle to get rid of the leaves and take that shot.) This has a FAR greater effect on gameplay than the presence or absence of mountains in the distance, but I wouldn't for a second suggest removing the new leaves.
