Have you taken into account how much the shield damage increases, player weapon effectiveness decrease, increased enemy firing speed, and probably most importantly the amount of damage the player can take before dying?

It's so much that nothing is too hard as that nothing is too tedious or takes too long, anyone with the dexterity to type (which you have), good eyesight, and the mental capacity to do things like provide mathematical reasoning to back up their stance on game difficulty can be just as good at a game

that sounds like one of my average playthroughs, if only because I have a pretty aggressive playing style, and I have a lot of fun with it

I get that and I support where you're coming from but I disagree on the cheapness, and I guess there aren't a lot of options for where to take it from there, so it's a good thing I'm out of things to type.
