Personally I have to say I found that Halo Wars was REALLY good and achieved what was expected, i mean it wasnt going to be a starcraft beater considering that it was built for the Xbox, but look at how well the game controls using a controller, surely thats a pretty impressive feat! also im not so sure Halo Wars has any worse cannon inconsistancies that the books and even games have! my only problem with it is the fact it seems online matches seem to have been developed around rushing teqniques, that really ruined the game online with strangers for me! So yeah not perfect but achieved what it went out for. As i have said before I think a lot of the critism comes from Halo fans who prefer shoot em ups, and thats a problem that could never be solved!
