: Hmm...let me know where the loopholes are in my thinking. Is it really fair to penalize a single player in Team Slayer, or any other rank game type, by dropping his rank by 5 because the rest of his team quits? Is it worth sticking around in a ranked game when the rest of your team quits? When it ends up a 4 on 1 match I always quit. The chances of me defeating the enemy team is next to impossible, if I have host then I may stick around and see what happens. Since I rarely get host there is no point to playing out the rest of the match. At best the Ranking system with Halo 2 is schizophrenic. I watched my rank in Team Slayer drop from a 32 to a 27 in 4 games because my team quit those 4 games. Was that fair to penalize me because of the actions of my team mates?
