In Response To: Ok, but that doesn't explain these confusing parts (Key Lime)

You all should listen to the end of the ilovebees story. A human spy ship finds a large tire sized Forerunner object in Covnant space that they're trying to bring back to Earth. The Covies send a computer virus to the ship's AI so it will tell them the location of the object. Anyway the object gets activated and is counting down and but the group of heroes deactivate it. They find out that the object was counting down to the destruction of the galaxy (firing the halos). When they deactivated it, it released a huge signal. This signal attracted the Covies. This was probably Regret's group since they were only looking for the object(Arc) they didn't expect it to be on Earth. That explains Cortana's comment that they did not expect Humans to be here, on Earth. The Prophets were looking for this object because it will send them on the Great Journey. The arc is on a base in Boston so Truth will be headed to Boston to start the Great Journey. Sounds like a good opening for Halo 3.

: Someone, please answer these questions for me...

: #1: If you want to achieve The Great Journey, why even bother attacking
: Earth?

: #2 Why does Regret go to Earth in the first place, and then why does he leave
: right away? Was he looking for somethign on Earth? How could someone make
: such a blundering mistake as to attack Earth early with a small fleet?
: That just doesn't make sense at all to me. It defies logic. You don't make
: mistakes like that. This part throws the plot off for me.

: #3: What is that big fleet assembling above the second Halo for (the part
: where you look up into the sky and Cortana makes a comment about the
: massive fleet assembling above you)? It is the real Earth invasion fleet?
: If so, see question #1.

: #4: Why does Truth go back to Earth at the end of the game and not to the
: other Halos?

: #5: Why did the original poster call Gravemind by the name of Audrey?

: These are the aspects that still confuse me.
