Part 2: Lh'owon

(I broke this into two parts so I could sleep.)
I think we can use the tau Ceti e distance to make an approximation about Lh'owon.
From the daytime land/ skyscape texture, it would seem that its sun is similar to what we are familiar with: class G yellow suns like Sol or tau Ceti. From terminal pics of the planet from orbit, it would seem that it is dry. This, along with the presence of magma on the surface (and that used in a controlled manner), may indicate that the S'pht home world is hot.
If so, I think that we can tentatively use tau Ceti as a proxy system for the Lh'owon system for the purposes of in system distance approximations. This means that tau Ceti e and Lh'owom may each be about the same distance from their suns. If Lh'owon were an M class red dwarf, it would appear reddish in the sky, so I don't think that it is. If it were a 'cool' orange K class sun, it might appear a tad orange in the sky. If this were the case, the planet would probably be closer to its sun if it is a hot planet.
As for the distance from Earth or the Colony to Lh'owon, its thought to be about 27 thousand LY from us to the galactic center. See: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Galactic_Center So, depending on where Lh'owon is relative to the center, it could be a 'little' closer or further than 27 thousand LY away from us.
As for the Pfhor home world, according to an image in a Waterloo Waterpark terminal, it seems to be about the same distance from the galactic center as tau Ceti (or Sol) is. Interestingly, the image of that world as seen from space is that it is predominantly green. This may indicate significant biomass similar to that of Earth's. Furthermore, the 3 systems (Pfhor, Terran and tau Ceti colonial) appear to be in the galactic habitable zone.
