In Response To: Re: Come and Take Your Medicine Term 1.1 (Simon Araque) : Al alternative theory would require that we analyzed what we see in the
Despite having not read any of the Halo novels (though I do love the original Halo and reasonably like Halo 4), the thought did cross my mind that maybe Pfhor ships aren't accurate enough to avoid incinerating themselves within the molten core of a planet or a star. This could certainly explain why Battle Group Seven ended up so far away from Lh'owon. However, in the end, I totally forgot to post it, and you beat me to the punch with actual evidence, whereas I would've just had an unsupported theory. Good show, sir! : And from what we know of their technology: The Pfhor
Yes, the Pfhor are primitive, but as Bob-B-Q pointed out, Troopers carry firearms. Also, Hunters have a shoulder-mounted energy blaster, Drones have energy blasters they can pop open at any moment, Juggernauts have larger versions of the Alien Weapon mounted on either side along with tracking missiles, Cyborgs have Flamethrowers and bouncy grenades, and so on and so forth. It doesn't seem fair to call the Enforcers the only ones with a firearm. Flamethrowers may just be long-ranged cigars, after all, but they're mighty powerful long-ranged cigars. ;) Vale,
