In Response To: Halo: Combat Evolved and Bloom (uberfoop)
Well, the Halo 1 pistol had two separate values for its shot spread: one for when firing semi-auto, and one for when firing full-auto. When firing full-auto, it had rate of fire-based shot spread just like any other automatic, and the maximum shot spread was considerable (can't recall the actual value, but it was around 1°, maybe a bit more). When firing semi-auto, it had a flat shot spread of 0.2° regardless of whether or not you were firing at max RoF.
