The pistol has a maximum shot spread of 0.2°. By comparison, the DMR's shot spread when pacing your shots is... zero. Zip. Zilch. Nada. Perfect accuracy. When you're spamming the trigger, though, the shot spread looks to be around double the pistol's. : H1 4 lyfe Sho 'nuff. But to be fair to Reach, it's weapons are much better balanced than Halo 1's. H1 would have been just as balanced if they had A) trimmed the damage and/or rate of fire on the pistol to make it more on par with the other small arms in the damage-over-time department (say, 4sk & 3 rds/sec, or 5sk at the normal 3.5 rds/sec), and B) cut the spread on the automatics in half and increased the speed of the Needler rounds.
