there's a very real chance of people trying it a few times and not having it work, and thinking that section is broken or they're missing another Wraith somewhere-- also aim with the rocket launcher doesn't necessarily mean that much, you have to be pretty far away to be (almost) guaranteed a clear shot at the Wraith and then it can just move out of the damage area

I think the disconnect here, specifically, isn't with other games or achievements but the majority of players-- I'll die dozens or hundreds of times on my first time through a game, and still be quite satisfied when I finish, if I could count all my deaths in Super Mario Bros. before the first time I beat the game it would probably be in the thousands. I grew up playing Castlevania games but you give me around half an hour with one and I'll probably give you a death or two. I know of people that are significantly worse than me and care about it even less.
