(ElzarTheBam) I've never been interested in Xbox achievements and would disable the announcements if only I could, but I've taken a look at the list anyway and here are some comments. How Pedestrian (Halo on foot): I agree with uberfoop. AOTCR would've been a better choice. When doing Halo on foot, the only significant challenge would be to negotiate that gap in the tunnel. With AOTCR however, there are enemy vehicles to face. Much more interesting. Also, in the second half of Halo, doing things on foot would involve quite a bit of running without meeting any enemies, which I think would bore a lot of folk, though you can always admire the scenery. But in AOTCR you meet a steady stream of baddies, so it plays much better. I almost always play that level on foot. Grenadier (SC finale on Heroic or higher without shooting): Seems a poor choice of name. It's not as if you'd necessarily be basing your escape on grenade work. Much of it could be done with cloaking and melee, or just running like hell. Wraith Hunter (destroy four Wraiths in AOTCR): Why not the full five? Seems pretty arbitrary to just ask for just four. Five would be a more satisfying achievement surely. Course, it's the one above the tunnel entrance which is the tricky one, when the pilot's feeling shy. Speed Reader (The Library on Legendary in 30 minutes or less): Hah, witty name, excellent. That Just Happened (The Library on Heroic or higher without dying): In my book not dying is a baseline requirement for taking satisfaction in completing any level, so that achievement would be a big round nothing even if I was interested in them. Also, why pick out just that level? In fact, what about all the individual achievements for completing levels? Wouldn't it have been better to have them for getting through without dying or reverting, so it's a more significant accomplishment? I mean heck, if you die or revert during a level, let's face it, you failed! Should you nevertheless get an achievement? Seems inappropriate to me. Come to think of it, how come they don't have achievements for completing levels on Legendary without dying or reverting? Solid meaningful challenges. Wouldn't people be interested in that? Look Out for the Little Guys (TB on Heroic or higher without killing any Grunts): Sounds an interesting challenge. I might even give that a go sometime in H1. Gonna be hard not to pull the trigger when I see those little grunty faces though! I'd have to concentrate hard, lest instinct kick in. Leave It Where It Lay (TB on Legendary without picking up a new weapon): An interesting sounding challenge, and probably a tough one too. You'd have to be pretty economical with your plasma pistol, but at least the shotgun could get fresh ammo. Tying Up Loose Ends (Keyes on Heroic or higher killing all Elites): This is another one which is pretty much like normal play in my book. Leaving any covies breathing goes against the grain. He's Unstoppable! (any level on Heroic or higher without losing health): Hey, that's like part of my old perfection challenge!
