I'm abnormal, that's one thing we can all agree on. Blizzard also had many other successful MMOs to base their model on by the time they came to market. I'm sure for the die hards who follow Bungie into MMO subscription land (assuming that's the way they go), Bungie will make it worth your while if you're into that kind of thing.

We'll see. Basically when I say "Activision", I mean the greedy side of big time game development and the exciting new ways to wrangle cash out of customers. I'm a Bungie fan but they sure do make strange bedfellows. I'm not familiar with other console MMOs and how they've worked in regards to subscriptions... I can only even think of something like Final Fantasy MMO.

Portal 2 for PS3 and PC will be cross platform multiplayer in a month or two here (forget when it's released), and will be a quasi-first person shooter. Granted it's not MMO, but there'll definitely be significant action going on there. I would be utterly shocked if Bungie managed to pull off something as huge as cross platform multiplayer between 360-PS3-PC.
