I've definitely judged based on 2004, and I gave it more chances in the years after, but definitely not within the past two years. When I see posts like the one from rolandk73's pointing out that: They spelled borderlands as bOderlands
it doesn't make it any easier for me to want to watch the show when the website couldn't even get things right. So as my posts and opinions within this topic have implied, I haven't and clearly don't view the Spike VGAs as anything worth placing time in, ads or trailers in, or "worth" in, especially if paid for by the company/publisher. Maybe Spike paid, and that I suppose did change my opinion of whether or not it was worth being shown there, but that's beside the point. As a "brand" I've come to expect that the Spike VGAs are neither to be taken seriously nor to be bothered with. At the same time, the fact that you took the time to come here, reply, and state that this year's VGAs will be more focused on the games and gaming itself has me interested. So, in all honesty, while I do not want to watch the VGAs to see Reach, or for any other reason due to what I've witnessed in the past, I will, in all fairness, view this year's show. I enjoy GTTV and feel you do a great job as host, and I respect the fact that you took the time to post here, showing real concern about your viewers and their opinions. In this regard, I'll take your word for it and give the show another chance. I really hope that things have changed, and if I'm going to critique the show like I have in all of my previous posts in this topic (as well as in this post), then I feel I should give it a fair shot and check it out. Again, thanks for taking the time out to come and post here, and I'll be sure to tune in on December 12. Sincerely, Avateur
