That ODST announcement : bullshit where they cut in and made Bungie delay it still doesn't sit well : with me. : Well considering that without the Halo brand the Xbox would be dead and could : still possibly die (343 created out of Bungie's independence, and signed : to a 5 or 6 year plan?), and all of the red rings of death and unreadable : disc errors and bullshit in general from this product (when Sony is : getting sued over a software update that made someone's PS3 break or : whatever, but Microsoft seems to be untoucable with this stuff, having : only covered red rings), I'd say that they're going to try and use Bungie : and milk Bungie of all they're worth until they're done with Halo. And : depending on what comes after Halo, Microsoft might still try to hold on : to them and use them as their cash cow. I just want Bungie to have a lot : more control, get a lot more money, and do well. Are we assuming that Bungie had little choice here but to make another Halo game? If Bungie didn't want to make another one couldn't they have said, "no, we're remaking Parappa the rapper for iphones, get Bizarre Creations to do it?" -Hedge, I don't think they hold guns to the head of Bungie employees...
